Felixstowe Kite, Craft, Kids and Car Festival 21st May 2017

This was a new event for us so we didn’t know what to expect. We weren’t disappointed it was an excellent day with beautiful weather and a reasonable wind. It reminded us of the old Rougham kite festivals that we used to organise. There were Paul and Kay Redhead on the PA giving the commentary and Bryan Cantle came out of retirement to do some of his excellent kite displays as Dark Star. We all said that it was a shame that Martin Corrie wasn’t still alive as he would have loved this event. We were joined by our friends from the Essex Kite Group who joined us in putting up a great display of single lined kites. Colin and Roger of the Haven flyers were joined by Kevin a local Felixstowe flyer to give us a great 4 line Rev demonstration.
