Club Flying Day 18th June 2017

20 Jun

Well we had thought about cancelling this club flying day as although the weather look absolutely beautiful the wind forecast looked like very light winds. First thing in the morning it was as we had expected very little wind. Pete did managed to get the 50 piece kite train up and it flew well in the light wind . As the day went on we got a good offshore wind which gradually picked up and we were able to get some kites in the sky. At one point we had 5 skeleton kites and 2 spirit kites all flying together. Later on there was just enough wind to get the Purple Octopus flying much to the delight of Ellis who turned up with his family to see it. There are some pictures in our club gallery: http://www.eastangliankiteflyers.org.uk/gallery.shtml.
