First Light Festival, Lowestoft – Sunday 23rd June 2024
We were really pleased to be asked back to the First Light Festival at Lowestoft yesterday, our first display for 2024. The weather was absolutely glorious but we weren’t sure that we would be able to put on much of a display as the wind forecast was for 3 -5mph winds all day. In the morning, we had a light easterly onshore wind which was just that and we struggled to get kites in the air but by midday the tide had turned and the wind turned to a steady 10 – 12mph south easterly which meant that we could get the Manta Rays up and then some of our bigger show kites.
