We had intended to do our usual kite display and our kite workshop. The kite workshop did really well with over 200 young people having a great time decorating their own kites and then flying them. Unfortunately the weather had other ideas with our kite display. We managed to get some of our show kites in the air on Saturday morning, however strong winds and the rain put pay to that in the afternoon. On the Sunday the rain had thankfully gone and we had a nice sunny day, however the wind was too strong for our large show kites, being 21mph and gusting to 30mph! We therefore had to be content with some ground display kites and a few of our smaller kites that could cope with the strong winds. There are a few photos from the weekend on our photo gallery page .

It was great to be back this weekend at the Naze supporting the Essex Wildlife Trust The Naze Nature Discovery Centre.
